Harry Potter 7 Part 1

I forgot how much I loved Harry Potter until this past week. My roommate and I and my two best friends from State started watching all the movies on Sunday and finished on Thursday, just in time for the midnight showing of Part 1 of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Out of all the movies, this one was definitely the most fantastic. So what I didn't get back to the dorm until 3:30am?? It was DEFINITELY worth the experience :) I can't wait for July now... Part 2 here we come!

Throw Away Day

Sometimes things happen in life that make us want to play hookie for a day. So today is that day for me. Don't worry, I'm still sticking with all of my homework and assignments, but class was not an option. So I slept in, took a long shower, and just relaxed. Everyone needs days like that and if you don't ever spontaneously decide to turn off your phone and breathe, I suggest you do. We can only go for so long before enough is enough anyway.

Crazy CORN

So today was the first official Corn experience for freshmen. Let me tell you, we went out there and totally blew everyone away. Upperclassmen don't expect a lot from the freshmen class because we're newbies and only have a couple of months to plan for Corn instead of a whole year like the upperclassmen do. I heard several upperclassmen say they were really impressed, and it's going to be interesting to see if we can beat the sophomores (please!) After can art, I definitely felt more excited than ever about cornhuskin'; I guess it might be because I've started EXPERIENCING it ;)
